An interview with Sanjay Lillaney, Owner

What made you decide to get into the business of food/drink? 

I have always loved Campo and Mark Estee’s cooking and the wonderful food he created at Campo. When I was in the ICU in the hospital several years ago, I would have Campo brought in and I have always had fond memories of Campo’s food helping me get through that time so when it came up for sale I wanted to be part of that great restaurant.

Why Reno? 

Reno has some of the best cliental, it is growing tremendously and has really become one of the places everyone wants to be.  We are happy to have our locals as well as our out of town guests in each and everyday.

Why are you excited for Reno Restaurant Week? 

During the pandemic we are extremely grateful to be able to open and have our amazing customers visit us.  Reno Restaurant Week gives us an opportunity to be able to feature our great food and excellent staff.  We are lucky to be a part of it.

How are you complying with safety guidelines for COVID-19?  

We have moved our tables to establish 6 ft between them, are providing sanitizer and all of our employees are wearing masks and gloves.  We are going above and beyond to ensure the safety of our customers and staff on a daily basis.
