An interview with Kasey Christensen, Owner

What made you decide to get into the business of food/drink?

A lifelong passion for food and a love of community and people brought us into the restaurant industry. 

Why Reno? 

Christian was born and raised here in Reno. We met in Hawaii and returned to Reno to grow our business and family. We truly love Reno and the community we have here! 

Why are you excited for Reno Restaurant Week?

We love celebrating the amazing restaurant scene we have here in Reno. It is growing and diversifying every year and we are happy to be a part of it.  

What is one thing you’d like your guests to know about you and/or your establishment?

Süp is a family run business. We opened 13 years ago this year. We believe in our community and we believe in our staff and truly love them both. 

How are you complying with safety guidelines for COVID-19?

We are going above and beyond to ensure the health and safety of our staff and our customers. We wear masks, we practice frequent hand washing, we sanitize all surfaces regularly and we practice social distancing. At this time we are offering Curbside and to-go orders only. Orders can be placed through the online ordering system on our website.
