These community events designed to support and promote local food and drink establishments will take place June 1-15, 2022
Hungry in Reno is pleased to announce that the 3rd Annual Reno Food & Drink Week will be taking place June 1-8, 2022 and that the inaugural Sparks Food & Drink Week will follow on June 8-15, 2022. Participating food and drink establishments will offer fixed price menus, drink flights and/or specialty food/drink items that will only be available during these weeks.
“We got to meet and serve a whole group of people that appreciate great food that we might not otherwise have reached in our day-to-day business,” said Kevin Warren, emPIEnada. “We love that the event focuses on great local food and the local people who create it.”
Reno Food & Drink Week and Sparks Food & Drink Week have been created to support and celebrate the local food and drink community, to encourage locals and visitors to try new places, delicious dishes and tasty beverages during this week and, hopefully after having an excellent experience, revisit throughout the year.
“I’m so excited for another chance to celebrate the wonderfully eclectic culinary experiences Reno has to offer and even more excited to expand the experience to include a week celebrating the diverse culinary experiences Sparks has to offer,” said Cheree Boteler, Founder of Hungry in Reno and Hungry in Sparks. “It is my greatest pleasure to have the opportunity to work with owners, chefs and managers to promote their establishments before, during and after this tasty week.”

While these food & drink weeks are not charity events but community events created to support and promote local food and drink establishments, 100% of the net proceeds will be split evenly between the 2022 Hungry Gives Back charities: Nevada Youth Empowerment Project (NYEP), Safe Embrace, Sparks Heritage Foundation & Museum and STEP2.
