Hungry in Reno is pleased to announce that Reno Restaurant Week will be taking place June 17-24, 2020.  During this week long event, participating food and drink establishments will offer reduced or fixed price menus and/or specialty items to guests.

“Community is at the core of who we are,” said Joe Cannella, Owner of Ferino Distillery. “This is a time when Reno has a great opportunity to come together to support each other and those most in need.”

This event has been created to support and celebrate the local food and drink community, to encourage locals and visitors to try new places during this week and, hopefully after having an excellent experience, revisit throughout the year.

“While many events are being cancelled or have gone virtual, I decided that this event needed to still take place,” said Cheree Boteler, founder of Hungry in Reno. “We need something to get excited about and our food and drink establishments are worth the celebration.”

All participating establishments have agreed to be COVID-19 compliant and any active phase restrictions will be followed.  Guests will be encouraged to make reservations if they plan to dine-in.

“We always look forward to events that bring the Reno Culinary Scene together in support of one another,” said Nicholle Alumbaugh, Chef/Owner of Homage. “Now more so than ever due to the effects that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the restaurant industry.”

Participation registration has closed; however, sponsorships are still available.  Should you be interested in sponsoring this event, please contact Cheree Boteler at [email protected] or 775.527.2023.

Reno Restaurant Week’s current sponsors are Sierra Meat and Seafood, Berge & Company CPA, Get Certified Food Safety, Haus of Reed, Kylie Rowe Co, M&A Business Advisors, RetroRocket Coffee and Yelp Reno.

100% of the net proceeds of this event will be split equally between the three Hungry Gives Back recipients: Reno IceSTEP2 and Veteran’s Guest House
