Probably my favorite stop for food week. Got the eel and it was amazing! I wish they actually had it on their menu because WOW. It came of a tiny coal grill and that really added to the experience. Loved it!

Loved the outdoor patio I got to bring my dog and relax. The eel was very flavorful and loved the little bbq it was served on super cute. The only thing that was annoying was that on the menu and on this site it said that there were skewers plural and I was only served one. I talked to the manager and he told me it was a weight thing so I get it but still for people who aren’t in the industry or are new people could get butt hurt about it.

Showed up in a foul mood. The day had been exhausting had ran about 2 hours late…so I showed up about 45 minutes late to our dinner date with friends. They let me be a pissy brat for a few minutes and then everything melted away when I got some of that tasty Von Bismark food in my mouth. We all shared a sausage platter, a plate of carpaccio, the eel special as well as the pork belly special. We loved the presentation so much on the eel we went out and bought a similar cook top! But for me, the star of the meal was the “hand made” sodas they offered. I could just drink these all day long…because I get to make them as sweet or light as I want!
Von Bismark has always been one of my favorite places and I was glad to see them on the list for RFDW.

I had no idea they did handmade sodas (I learn new things every year too!), can’t wait to pop in and try one (or a few HA!).
