The Z Bar

The Z Bar is a landmark in the Midtown area, continuously operating since 1952. Originally known as The Office Bar until 1972, it then became the home base of the Washoe Zephyrs, a local rugby team, and was renamed The Zephyr Bar. In 2013, it was completely updated and renamed The Z Bar.

The Z Bar offers a unique take on traditional cocktails from around the world, positioning itself as an upscale craft cocktail bar with a relaxing atmosphere and a large patio area featuring six separate fire pits. The skilled staff, with years of mixology experience, creates cocktails for every palate. Along with an extensive cocktail menu, The Z Bar offers a signature weekly cocktail. In addition to award-winning cocktails, it features carefully selected draft and bottled beers.
