HUNGRY IN RENO

Participant: Teriyaki Madness

About

by Johnathan L. Wright

Gillian Beerman has gone from toys to teriyaki. After selling her child products business, “I wanted to explore my other passion — food,” she says. “We discovered there wasn’t a teriyaki shop in Reno, and I loved Teriyaki Madness’ marketing and fresh food, so we decided to give the franchise a go.”

The menu features about a dozen protein or vegetarian bowls, including signature teriyaki bowls, plus appetizers, 8-ounce sides like teriyaki or spicy chicken, and family packs. Being new to the restaurant business, Beerman says “wants to get it right. If you get something and you don’t like it, please tell us and we will make it right.”

While we are a fast casual restaurant, everything is made to order and we are happy to customize your food.
