Süp, a pioneer of Midtown dining, opened in 2007, when the now-buzzy area was still a bit raffish. Kasey Christensen and her chef-husband Christian met in Hawaii and returned to Reno to open what has become one of the city’s most popular restaurants.
Süp demonstrates the wisdom of finding your style and sticking with it, offering since day one its holy trinity of soups, salads, sandwiches. Monday’s chicken tortilla soup has had the city looking forward for years to the start of the week. A signature strawberry salad (bulked with choice of protein) means it’s spring in Midtown. And what’s not to love about the grilled steak baguette?
We believe in our community and we believe in our staff and truly love them both.Kasey Christiansen, owner
