Ian Madan is co-owner and pizzaiolo of SouthCreek Pizza Co., one of Reno’s top pizzerias. “I would love for our guests to know just how much of a scratch kitchen we are,” Ian says, noting pizza dough, mozzarella, tomato sauce and salad dressings made daily in house, plus local produce and high-quality imported ingredients.
SouthCreek pies emerge blistered and bubbling from a 900 F wood-fire oven, with a soft chewy Neapolitan crust. Superlative pies include an Afterburner with house meatballs, a Linda topped with lemon slices and finished with honey, and smoked blue cheese and sausage headlining the Smoked Creek pizza.
