HUNGRY IN RENO

Participant: Noble Pie Summit

About

by Johnathan L. Wright

It was mid-March 2020. Noble Pie Parlor was just about to open its third location, in the Summit center in South Reno. And then came the order to shut down businesses statewide to slow the coronavirus. But the owners didn’t toss (out) the dough. Just four months later, Noble No. 3 debuted, joining its sisters in downtown and Midtown.

That means folks across the city now have convenient access to Noble Pie’s superlative pizzas built with Neapolitan-style dough and Brooklyn-inspired red sauce made daily. Such as: DIY slices composed from 30 topping choices, vegan and gluten-free versions, and specialty pies like the T-Pane (caramelized fennel, sausage, aged pecorino) or the Hey Zeus (vegan pesto, artichokes, kalamatas).

And the meatballs and wings are winners, too.
