Family-owned Mexcal celebrates tacos and tequila from its historic brick building where California Avenue and South Virginia Street meet. Braised beef quesabirria tacos arrive with broth for dipping. Lamb tacos are spiked with pickled red onion. Octopus, queso and crema top a tostada. Tequilas and mezcals take pride of place in margaritas and specialty cocktails.
