Liberty Food & Wine Exchange is the flagship property in chef Mark Estee’s Reno Local Food Group. Liberty, with its windows affording people watching on First and Sierra streets, combines a market, wine bar and restaurant; a basement butcher shop and a double-mouthed wood-fire oven reflect the artisan ethos.
Among the highlights: a revolver cocktail (bourbon, bitters, coffee and maraschino liqueurs), Liberty fondue, seasonal salads with local produce, an Estee pizza (sopressata, ‘nduja spicy sausage, hot parmesan), in-house pappardelle Bolognese and nightly lamb dishes from local Borda Ranch.
