Upstairs from La Strada in the Eldorado Resort Casino, a property in THE ROW downtown, there’s a pasta shop where scores of different pastas are fashioned by hand throughout the day. Downstairs on the restaurant menu, the pastas are marquee attractions, including famed porcini mushroom ravioli named among the country’s best pastas in 2019 by the Food Network.

But carbs aren’t the only attractions at La Strada. Focaccia di Recco stuffed with stracchino cheese hails from Liguria, in northwest Italy. Couscous marinara accompanies charred octopus. Pappardelle meets Bolognese, an eternal pairing. Half chicken mattone is cooked beneath a brick. For bistecca Fiorentina, a T-bone steak is marinated, grilled and sliced.
