Participant: Dorinda’s Chocolates
by Johnathan L. Wright
Co-owner Dorinda Vance has been making her signature chocolate-covered cherries since she was 12.
Dorinda opened her first Reno chocolaterie in 2012 on Riverside Drive, followed by a location in the South Creek center (which closed in early 2021). In the summer of 2021, Dorinda’s Chocolates opened a new location in the Shops at the Village on the historic Rancharrah estate. Dorinda crafts her chocolates with topnotch fair-trade ingredients, for “an indulgent but ethical experience with every bite,” says Dustin Vance, her son and co-owner.
Our chocolates are award-winning, all-natural, hand-made creations made with fairtrade ingredients of the best possible quality.Dustin Vance, co-owner
