Bangkok Cuisine celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2021. The restaurant is a pioneer of international cooking in Reno, the doyenne of the city’s now-flourishing cohort of Thai dining spots.
Owner Kris Lueamrung left the Washoe County Sheriff’s Department in 2004 to take over from his mother, who started Bangkok Cuisine. Today, Bangkok shines with lunch specials, Thai chicken wings (glorious!), basil noodles, duck curry and whole fish.
