About:
Brasserie Saint James, a longtime locals’ destination, occupies a historic former ice and water dispensary in Midtown. Brasserie combines a brewery with a brasserie-inspired restaurant. Ales and lagers are made using spring water from an artesian lake nearly 300 feet beneath the building. Brasserie offers beer on tap and packaged beer.
On the gastropub side, look for a Caesar with scratch dressing, housemade soft pretzels, cod and prawn fish and chips, jambalaya, and steak and frites au poivre. Brunch? Don’t miss Southern fried chicken and waffles and chimichurri flank steak and eggs.
