Land Ocean, in the Summit center in South Reno, became the fifth location of the restaurant (and the first outside California) when it opened in 2019. “We waited for the right space in Reno for six years,” say owners Karoline and Mark Platt.
Land Ocean offers a modern take on steakhouse dining, with six menus encompassing lunch, brunch, dinner, happy hour, drinks and take-out. Standout dishes include tenderloin Wellingtons, fish and chips, spicy filet mignon stir-fry, crab cake Benedict and bottomless mimosas at brunch.
